Alzheimer and Dementia Resources

Dementia  may occur as a result of illness such as Alzheimer’s or a stroke or as a result of old age. The brain becomes impaired and the brain cells die,  the brain cells do not replace themselves.  The memory gets worse for someone with dementia and they become confused easily and eventually lose their ability to take care of themselves. 

At Spring Oaks, we offer comfortable, secure living with a memory unit designed to assist our memory care residents and help them to continue to live their lives as independently as possible.  We also offer resources and support to caretakers and family members of our residents and Spring Hill community.
